The wood band saw is designed for cutting wood in the following shapes: flat and curved panels, square and rectangular planks.
By replacing the band saw blade, the machine can also be used for cutting plastic materials and aluminum alloys.
The band saw allows the cutting of “pieces” of wood with a circular section, with a maximum diameter of 120 mm, and with a rectangular section, with a maximum size of 200 x 80 mm.
The band saw consists of: machine body frame, removable base, swiveling work table, lever to push the pieces, electric motor, flywheel and driving pulleys for the cutting belt (blade).
The machine is equipped with start and stop buttons, wired in series to a safety micro-switch that detects the opening of the pulley compartment.
The motor works at a constant speed.
The machine must be connected to a sawdust suction device before each use.
